What is Pashmina?
We work directly with Kashmiri artisans, heralded by Mr Ahmad whose unit is also registered with Handloom Department, Govt. of J&K. All shawls come with a GI certification and 100% pure pashmina.
Pashmina is obtained from the fibres of the Changthangi breed of goats and is exclusively made from a specific breed of mountain goat called Capra Hircus which makes Pashmina is a variety of Cashmere. Pashmina fibre is thinner which is 10-15 microns and the basic Cashmere fabric has 15-19 microns in diameter. The goats are not hurt in the process and live happy lives tended to by traditional goatherds.

Orders are dispatched within 3 business days (except custom/monogram orders which take 5). Shipping time is separate and usually 3-4 business days.
Yes, we ship all over the world using DHL. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. Bedlam is not responsible for an import duties or custom duties which are levied in the customers country.
All sales are treated as final. BEDLAM will happily honour any valid defect claims, provided a claim is submitted within 2 days of receipt of items. Once the claim is confirmed, you will receive the choice of:
(a) refund to your payment method
(b) a refund in-store credit
(c) a replacement item sent to you (if stock is available)

We suggest rotating with more than one set to avoid excessive wear.
